FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What is BazaarTop?

A leaderboard of products from Indian sellers on Instagram, WhatsApp and their own stores. Sellers pay to show their product higher. Shoppers browse and buy directly from the seller.

How does ranking work?

The main and category boards are ordered by the total amount paid for each listing — rankings are paid placements. The Trending page is different: it is ordered by real clicks in the last 24 hours. The rules explain every detail.

How do I contact or buy from a seller?

Open the listing and tap “Visit seller”, “Order on WhatsApp” or the Instagram button. You go straight to the seller’s own shop, WhatsApp or Instagram and deal with them directly.

How do I list and promote my product?

Go to List your product, paste your shop, Instagram or WhatsApp link, add 1–4 photos, pick a category and pay from ₹49. After review it appears on the boards. How promotion works.

Do you sell the products?

No. We only sell visibility on the board. When a shopper taps a listing, they go straight to the seller. Payment, delivery and returns are between the shopper and the seller.

Is there anything to win?

No. This is advertising. You pay for a higher position in a directory — nothing else. Nobody receives money, rewards or anything of value from a ranking.

How much does it cost?

A new listing starts at ₹49. After that you can add any amount from ₹5. To rank above a listing, reach its total plus the step for that spot (#1 +₹15 · #2 +₹13 · #3 +₹10 · #4 and below +₹5). See the rules for details.

Do I need an account?

No. There are no accounts — checkout only needs your email, for the payment receipt. Your listing’s rank and clicks are shown on its page for everyone to see.

Someone boosted my listing. Is that allowed?

Yes. Anyone can boost any listing and every payment adds to its total. Customers and fans can help push a shop up the board.

I paid, but my rank didn’t change yet.

Your rank updates as soon as Razorpay confirms the payment to us — usually within seconds, sometimes a minute or two. You don’t need to do anything else.

Can I get a refund?

Payments are for visibility only and are non-refundable, except for duplicate or failed charges. If you were charged twice or a payment failed but money was deducted, contact us with your payment ID.

What does “Claim this spot” mean?

It shows how much a new listing must pay to rank above that listing: its total plus the step for its spot (#1 +₹15 · #2 +₹13 · #3 +₹10 · #4 and below +₹5). If your listing already has some money, you only need the difference — checkout works this out for you.

What do the visitor numbers mean?

Each browser gets an anonymous random ID (kept only in that browser). “Visitors today” counts unique IDs since midnight India time; “Online now” counts IDs with a page open in the last minute or so. We don’t store IP addresses or any personal data for this.

Are clicks real people?

Clicks are an activity signal: each time someone taps through to your link. We skip obvious bots and link previews, but a click isn’t guaranteed to be a unique visitor.

Why was my link changed?

We remove tracking codes (everything after “?”), open short links to get the real address, and change WhatsApp “send” links to the simple wa.me format — so shoppers always land on a clean link.

How long does review take?

Usually within 24 hours. Your listing appears on the board once it’s approved.
