1. Overview

BazaarTop (“we”, “our”, or “us”) is committed to protecting the personal information of our users, visitors, and sellers in accordance with the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011 (“SPDI Rules”).

2. Information We Collect

We believe in minimal data collection. We only collect information strictly necessary to provide our directory and advertising services:

• Contact & Billing Information: When you purchase a listing placement or boost, we collect your email address at checkout. We use this solely to generate your Razorpay transaction order, send your payment confirmation receipt, and alert you if another seller claims your spot.
• Public Listing Information: Product title, description, uploaded product photos, category selection, destination shop link, and optional social handles (e.g. Instagram username or WhatsApp number). This information is published publicly on our directory.
• Anonymous Analytics & Presence: Each web browser receives an anonymous, randomly generated UUID stored in local storage. We use this to count unique daily visitors and show “online now” presence. We never store raw IP addresses, and we do not build tracking profiles across websites.

3. Payment Security via Razorpay

All payments on BazaarTop are securely processed through Razorpay Software Private Limited, an RBI-authorized and PCI-DSS Level 1 compliant payment gateway.

• No Card or Banking Data Stored: BazaarTop never captures, processes, or stores your credit/debit card numbers, CVVs, net banking passwords, or UPI MPINs on our servers. All sensitive financial data is handled directly within Razorpay’s encrypted payment interface.
• Transaction Records: We only receive and retain transaction metadata from Razorpay: order ID, payment ID, amount, currency, timestamp, and status.

4. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information for the following purposes:

• To publish and display your product listing on the leaderboard and category boards.
• To generate and process your Razorpay payment orders.
• To send transactional receipts and outranked notification emails (which include a one-click unsubscribe option).
• To detect and prevent fraudulent payments, spam links, and platform abuse.

5. Information Sharing & Disclosure

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information or email address to third-party advertisers or data brokers. We only share data with trusted service providers strictly necessary to operate the platform:

• Razorpay: To process payments and verify transactions.
• Transactional Email Services: To deliver payment receipts and notifications.
• Legal Authorities: Only when required by law, subpoena, or official investigation under Indian jurisdiction.

6. Data Retention & Security

We implement industry-standard technical, organizational, and physical safeguards to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. Transaction records are retained as required under Indian taxation and corporate record-keeping laws.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to review, update, or request the deletion of your listing and personal contact details from our active directory. To exercise these rights, email our privacy team at support@bazaartop.in.
